Brateck series of Anti-theft iPad/Tablet stands were a popular choice for offices, schools, and hospitals as security door entry system, and for hotels, restaurants as a children entertainment or quick ordering system. Hills Components, the previous UK distributor, never had an overview of the product range, and customers are easily confused with hundreds of different models. We here at Allcam – the new distributor – want to empower the customer so they can choose the right security stands with confidence. We actually use the same material to train our sales and support staff.
Part 3/3: The Riser (Base + Pole) of Brateck Anti-theft iPad/Tablet Stands
As explained earlier, Brateck Secure iPad/Tablet stands were designed in a consistent way so that almost every enclosure works with every riser (Base + Pole). There are four main type of risers:
- Riser #1: Fan-shaped steel base + aluminium pole. There are two sizes: #1a. for floor stands, and #1b. for desk/table stands. They both feature tilt up/down 90°. It is used in PAD1204, PAD1205, PAD2100-series
- Riser #2: Circular steel base + fixed-height steel pole. It features 90° rotation to change screen orientation (portrait, landscape). It is used in the PAD1202 stands.
- Riser #3: Rectangular weighted steel base + fixed-height aluminium pole w/ mounting slots for leaflet tray. There are also two sizes: #3a. for floor stands and #3b. for desk/table stands. They both feature tilt up/down 90°. It is used in the PAD2600-series stands.
Here is a comparison picture of all 3 types
Riser #1 is actually a full-functional LCD TV/monitor stand with VESA 100 & 75 mounting, which can mount small LCD TVs, monitors, and of course iPad/Tablet enclosures.
Since the 3 types of enclosures (6 types if you consider the different lock option), 5 types of risers, and 3 different colours, in theory there could be 180 different models. Allcam can mix the parts in our Birmingham warehouse to offer you the maximum flexibility. Here is the final summary image (or you can click here to download the guide in PDF).
